== Its Essence == Shem Sag is formed from the name Havaya with the filling of Yuds, in this manner: Yud Hey Vav Hey. This name is connected to the Sefirah of Binah, which is the beginning of existence in contrast to Chochmah, Shem Av (72), which is in the aspect of complete nullification. Unlike Shem Av, which is not a renewed name, Shem Sag is a renewed name. The explanation is that since [[Shem Mah]] (45), which is the name of the world of Tikkun, is a renewed name, necessarily Shem Sag, which belongs to the world of Tohu, is also a renewed name. This is because the building of Tohu was for the purpose of its breaking, and the breaking of Tohu was for the purpose of building Tikkun. This is in contrast to Shem Av, which is beyond Tohu and Tikkun, and is not renewed. After the breaking of the vessels, the lights fell from the level of Shem Sag to the level of [[Shem Ban]] (52), which is the separate worlds, the worlds of Beriah, Yetzirah, and Asiyah. There is a connection between Shem Sag and Shem Ban, as Shem Ban is called "behemah" (animal) (as Ban in gematria equals behemah), and in relation to it, Shem Sag is called "behemah rabbah" (great animal). In the future, the worlds of Beriah, Yetzirah, and Asiyah, which are the aspect of Shem Ban, will be elevated to their source in the worlds of Tohu, which is Shem Sag, which is higher than the world of Tikkun, which is Shem Mah.
