Sholom Dovber Sternberg was born to Reb Menachem Nochum Sternberg on 27 Shvat 5744 in Crown Heights

In his childhood years he learnt in Oholei Torah in Crown Heights, for Mesivta he learnt in Beitar Elit, Israel and in Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Bnei Brak, Israel. For Zal he learnt in Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Burnoy, France and Shiur Daled, Oholei Torah Zal in Crown Heights. For Shlichus he went to Rostov, Russia. In 5767 he married the daughter of Rabbi Daniel Yitzchok Moscowitz A"H the Head Shliach of Chicago and the state of Illinois. In 5769 he moved to Cote S. Luc, Montreal, Canada, he served as the administrator of Chabad of Cote S. Luc under his sister and brother-in-law Rabbi & Mrs. Mendel and Sarah Raskin. In the summer of 5783 he moved to Pomona, NY. he formally served as the Director of Operations @ Beis Medrash Or Chaim - 18 Forshay in Monsey. Now he runs his own company in Pomona. He has nine children: Zalman, 17, Mordechai, 15, Chava, 14, Gittel, 12, Daniel Yitzchok, 10, Yosef, 8, Shmuel, 6, Mendel, 4, Ephraim, 9 months.
