The Rebbe explained that this declaration, said at the time of coronation, expresses the depth of connection between the people and the king to the extent that the king depends on the people who proclaim "Yechi HaMelech" - adding life to the king, and that the content of the declaration is that the time for Moshiach's coming has arrived and to hasten Moshiach's coming.
