Pri Ha'aretz
Pri Ha'aretz is a Chassidic sefer containing maamarim on the weekly parshiyos by Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Vitebsk.
It was first printed in 1814 in Kopust, then in 1849 in Zhitomir, and in 1911 in Lemberg. The introduction to the sefer includes the biography of the author in a kuntres called "Nefesh Menachem."
In 2007, the sefer was reprinted with the addition of dozens of letters mentioning the Alter Rebbe, regarding the episode of his appointment as the Rebbe of the chassidim of Vitebsk in Russia. In these letters, the Alter Rebbe is described by Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Vitebsk and Rabbi Avraham of Kalisk with highly revered titles.
