Rosh Toch Sof are three general levels into which the vessels are divided. These three aspects are: the inner parts of the vessels, the middle of the vessels, and the outer parts of the vessels. The ten Sefirot are also divided into Rosh, Toch and Sof, and these are the three sections ChaBaD, ChaGaT, NeHiY.

In the Sefirot edit

The main Sefirot are divided into Rosh, Toch and Sof, and these are the three sections ChaBaD, ChaGaT, NeHiY. ChaBaD are the first Sefirot in every world and through them, the light is received from the world above them. In this way, they are the inner dimension of the world, like the inner part of the vessel that receives the light. NeHiY are the Sefirot connected to the transmission of light to a lower world, and therefore they are the outer part of the vessel. ChaGaT are the essence of that world, and therefore they are the inner part of the vessel, the main part of the vessel.

Each Sefirah is also divided into Rosh, Toch, Sof, through its inclusion of all the other Sefirot. The ChaBaD within it is at the level of Rosh and inner vessels, in which the light truly dwells; the ChaGaT within it is at the level of the middle vessels, which serve as an intermediary to transfer the flow to the outer vessels; and the NeHiY within it is at the level of the outer vessels.

In the Human Body edit

It is explained in Chassidut that in the physical human body, the bones, sinews, and flesh are at the level of Rosh, Toch, and Sof. The bones are at the level of the inner vessels, the flesh is at the level of the outer vessels (as it is said: "With skin and flesh You clothed me"), and the sinews are the middle vessels that connect between them.

In another way it is explained that the 'Rosh Toch Sof' of the body is: the head, the torso (Toch), and the legs (Sof).

In the Worlds edit

The creation of the worlds Beriah, Yetzirah, and Asiyah is from the 30 vessels of Malchut of the world of Atzilut. These 30 vessels are at the level of Rosh, Toch, Sof of the inclusion of all ten Sefirot within the Sefirah of Malchut. The ten inner vessels (the inner aspect of the ten vessels of Malchut) become the soul for the ten Sefirot in the world of Beriah, the ten middle vessels become the soul for the Sefirot in the world of Yetzirah, and the ten outer vessels become the soul for the Sefirot in the world of Asiyah.
