Rabbi Mordechai Yerachmiel Lima Wilhelm (born 1975) is a renowned lecturer and mashpia at Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Morristown.

Life History

Born in Cheshvan 1975 to his father Rabbi Nachman Yosef Wilhelm from the Anash of Toronto.

In his youth, he studied with his grandfather Rabbi Menachem Mendel Ahronov. He later studied at the Yeshiva Gedola in London and at Beis Medrash Ohel Torah. He served as a shliach at Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Kfar Chabad. He married the daughter of Rabbi Mordechai Shmuel Ashkenazi.

He served as a Rosh Mesivta at Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Bnei Brak.

He served for many years as the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim in Rostov until it was closed by the authorities in 2007 and he was exiled from there. Afterwards, he lived for a year near his father-in-law in Kfar Chabad, and was then appointed as mashpia and Rosh Yeshiva at the Chabad Mesivta Oak Park in Detroit, Michigan. Due to various reasons, he left the yeshiva in 2015.

He then moved to Morristown and began serving as mashpia for Shiur Beis and Rosh Mesivta for Shiur Gimmel at Tomchei Tmimim Morristown. Following his joining the yeshiva, it began to develop after having been at risk of closure until then.

He is known for his unique shiurim that combine the Rebbe's teachings with nigleh.

Rabbi Wilhelm gives regular shiurim in Chassidus in Monsey and Lakewood, and is recognized as a renowned mashpia and lecturer.
