The maamar "Samach Tesamach 5657" (1897), also known as 'The Great Samach Tesamach', is a series of maamarim delivered by the Rebbe Rashab during the Sheva Brochos celebrations of his only son, the Rebbe Rayatz's wedding.

About the Maamar edit

The wedding of the Rebbe Rayatz, the only son of the Rebbe Rashab, took place on the 13th of Elul 5657 (1897).

During the wedding and Sheva Brochos celebrations, the Rebbe Rashab was in a state of great simcha and delivered many chassidic maamarim, which all explained the supreme level of simchas nisuin (wedding joy) which is the greatest simcha.

The hemshech (series) was published in Sefer HaMaamarim 5657, from page 173 until the end, spanning 112 pages.

In 5725 (1965), the hemshech was published by Kehot as a separate kuntres.
