The lyrics of this nigun are taken from Tehillim (Psalms 118:28), which are also recited in the Hallel prayer: "Keli Ata v'odeka, Elokai aromemeka" ("You are my G-d and I will thank You, my G-d I will exalt You").

In the Rebbe's household, it is customary to sing this nigun at the conclusion of the Seder night after saying "L'Shana Haba'ah B'Yerushalayim" (Next year in Jerusalem), at the time when the wine is returned from Eliyahu's cup to the bottle.
The words of the niggun are drawn from [[Psalms]] (chapter 118, verse 28) and are recited during the [[Hallel]] prayer:

This is Nigun #3 in Sefer HaNigunim (The Book of Nigunim).
In [[Beis Rabbeinu]] — 770— it is customary to sing this niggun at the close of the [[Pesach seder]], after the recitation of ''[[Leshanah Haba'ah BiYerushalayim]]'' ("Next year in Jerusalem"), at the moment when [[Elijah's cup|Elijah's wine]] is poured back from his cup into the bottle.


In addition to this nigun, there is another melody attributed to the Tzemach Tzedek on these same words, which does not appear in Sefer HaNigunim.
The niggun is also sung at the Rebbe's court during the drawing of [[mayim shelanu]] — the water set aside from the previous night for use in baking [[matzah]].
