| == Renovation of the Gravesite ==
| |
| Throughout all the years since Rabbi Levi Yitzchak's passing, the Rebbe was very interested in his father's gravesite, and cared for the preservation of the place and its holiness. Over the years the Rebbe even sent funds for preserving the place and precise instructions for renovation and renewal.

| In 1972, after Rabbi Mordechai Gorlick gave the Rebbe photos of the gravesite and tombstone in private audience, the Rebbe asked him to ask his family members if they could repair the tombstone, and gave detailed instructions regarding the renovation work. The main person involved in this was his brother Rabbi Chaim Elazar Gorlick. It is said that during the wondrous mission several miracles occurred.

| The one who built the tombstone was R' Gabriel Ochanov.
