On [[Shabbos]] Kodesh Parshas Nitzavim, Chof Zayin Elul 5781, after suffering from a machla in his final years, his neshama returned to its Creator. The levaya passed by Beis Chayeinu - 770 on Sunday, Chof Ches Elul, before proceeding to the Montefiore Beis Hachayim in Queens where he was buried.
