In Cheshvan 2012, before his yahrtzeit, it was renovated by the Chevra Kadisha of Kishinev and the Chief Rabbinate of Moldova under the leadership of shliach Reb Zalman Abelsky and coordinated by the grandson of Moldova's Chief Rabbi, shliach Reb Menachem Mendel Zalmanov.
