Later, he was appointed as Rosh Yeshiva of Knesses Beis Yitzchok in Slobodka. In 5681, he moved the yeshiva together with his son-in-law, Rabbi Reuven Grozovsky, to Vilna, and in 5686 to Kamenitz.
