Mivtza Mezuzah is one of the ten Mivtzaim (campaigns) announced by the Rebbe in 1974. Since the beginning of this campaign, the Rebbe repeatedly emphasized the importance of establishing kosher mezuzos in every Jewish home and checking them periodically. He often referenced the words of Chazal that the mezuzah has the segulah to protect and guard the Jew, his home, and his possessions at all times.
