Pomona is a village in New York State located north of the Hasidic city of Monsey, in Rockland County. The village sits on a high mountain from where you can view New York City. Because of the abundance of tall trees and large spaces, the village resembles Kfar Chabad and Lubavitch. The village has about 928 households, of which about 500 families are Anash (members of the Chabad community).

Beginning in 5767 (2007), Chabad Chassidim started moving to Pomona after housing in Crown Heights and Monsey became more expensive. In Pomona, Anash found large homes at reasonable prices.

Today, there are about ten Chabad synagogues in the village, a cheder run by Rabbi Moshe Gourary (the cheder is located on the Nyack campus), a Yeshiva Ketana by Rabbi Yosef Vigler, and a Yeshiva Gedolah by Rabbi Levi Heller (located on the Nyack campus), as well as an evening kollel for Anash at Beis Levi Yitzchak, and a kollel at Beis Menachem Mendel on Thursday evenings.

In 5781 (2021), Rabbi David Kahnov opened a Yeshiva Ketana for young bochurim in Pomona called "Machon Neiros Leha'ir." After one year, the yeshiva closed.

In the month of Adar 5783 (2023), a Chabad chossid named Ilan Fox was elected as the mayor of Pomona.
