Canada: Difference between revisions

Updated the current monarch. I also clarified the nature of Canada's relation to the king - Yes Charles is the king of England, but England is only one part of the UK so it is more accurate to say the latter. As well, his status as king of Canada and king of the UK are independent offices which happen to be occupied by the same person - him being king of Canada is not dependent on him being king of the UK, and he would still be king of Canada if he were not king of the UK.
Added mention of bilingualism, which is a significant mark of the country's identity

'''Canada''' is the second largest country in the world by area. Located in North America and bordering the United States, Canada currently has 41 million residents, including approximately half a million Jews. Canada is a federation of ten smaller provinces and three territories. The capital city is Ottawa, and its largest city by population is Toronto. Canada is a parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy - its head of state is King Charles III, who is also the king of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth realms (though members of parliament, including the prime minister, are democratically elected). Canada is thus the largest country by area which is headed by a monarchy.
