Rabbi Shalom Dovber Sheingartan (born in 5752/1992) is a mashpia (spiritual mentor) in the Yeshiva Ketana in Montreal and a sofer STaM (scribe of Torah scrolls, tefillin, and mezuzot).

Life History[edit | edit source]

Born on the 20th of Marcheshvan 5752/1992 to his father Rabbi Menachem Mendel Sheingartan and his mother Mrs. Rivka Tzira, daughter of R' Yerachmiel A"H Alperowitz.

In 5753/1993, when he was one year old, his family went on shlichus (emissary work) to Buenos Aires, Argentina, following the Rebbe's instructions. There he studied in cheder and in the Yeshiva Ketana.

He studied in Yeshiva Gedolah in Kfar Chabad, Montreal, and Argentina, and went on shlichus to Yeshivat Tomchei Tmimim Argentina.

On the 18th of Elul 5775/2015, he married the daughter of Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh Gourary from Montreal. He then studied in Kollel Menachem. Afterward, he was appointed as a mashpia for two years in Yeshivat Tomchei Tmimim in Montreal.

In the month of Elul 5778/2018, he moved to Moscow to serve as a mashpia in Yeshivat Tomchei Tmimim Moscow Ketana.

In the summer of 5781/2021, he left Russia, and currently serves as a mashpia in Yeshiva Ketana in Montreal and as a sofer STaM.
