At age fourteen, he received his first letter from the Rebbe and from then on they corresponded frequently.<br /> <br /> In 1957 he came to learn at the central Tomchei Tmimim and studied there for about four years. He was the first student born in England to go study at 770.<br /> <br /> In 1962 he returned to England and began working in education as a teacher before his marriage.
