"'''Prepare for the Coming of Moshiach'''" is a campaign launched in 5751 (1991) by the Tzeirei Chabad organization in Israel as a publicity campaign about the message of redemption. This campaign emerged following the Rebbe's many talks about how Moshiach is about to be revealed at any moment and all that remains is to prepare to receive the King Moshiach. == The Essence of Preparation == Already in his time, the Previous Rebbe (Admor HaRayatz) issued a special "call to action" in which he called upon the Jewish people to prepare themselves for the coming of Moshiach, and that the time is the final period before his arrival, and all that remains are very minor things, like polishing the buttons. Beginning in 5748 (1988), and even more intensely in the years 5751-5752 (1991-1992), the Rebbe spoke constantly about having completed all the work, including polishing the buttons - the smallest things. At the International Shluchim Convention in 5752 (1992), in a special talk that the Rebbe delivered to the army of shluchim, the Rebbe said that this gathering is the appropriate time to awaken everyone to the current work, what to focus on now in their place of shlichus, and the Rebbe continued to outline the "new work" - '''to prepare all the people of the city to receive Moshiach'''. == The Campaign == In light of the Rebbe's words, Tzach (Tzeirei Chabad) launched a publicity campaign designed to reach the widest possible target audience and bring to their awareness the Rebbe's message and demand to prepare for the coming of Moshiach. The wording and design of the campaign were submitted to the Rebbe at the time. The campaign was divided into two phases. The first phase was at the end of 5751 (1991), when Tzach wrote to the Rebbe about the campaign plan, and the Rebbe returned the response: "Success in all similar matters." This phase included billboards and massive, extensive media coverage. The second phase of the campaign was in the winter of 5752 (1992) and included original and diverse promotional products, gatherings, classes, informational bulletins, and the printing of books on the subject. == See Also == * [[Publication of Geulah and Moshiach]] * [[Baruch Haba Melech HaMoshiach (Welcome King Moshiach)]] == External Links == * Media documentation from the period about the campaign, from the Geulah and Moshiach Archive [[he:ΧΧΧΧΧ Χ ΧΧΧΧΧͺ ΧΧΧ©ΧΧ]]
