Editing Maamarei Admur Ha'emtzai (Discourses of the Mitteler Rebbe)


Maamarei Admur Ha'emtzai is a series of books (approximately 20 volumes) containing the chassidic discourses of [[the Mitteler Rebbe]].

The series includes about fifteen books on the Torah<ref>Bereishit, Shemot (2 volumes), Vayikra (2 volumes), Bamidbar (5 volumes), Devarim (4 volumes).</ref>, and one book on Neviim and Kesuvim. Additionally, the series includes the following books: Hanachos - 1817, Drushei Chasunah (2 volumes) and Kuntresim. In 1992, the maamar "Dor L'dor" was published.

== Publication of the Series ==
At the farbrengen of Yud Kislev 1985, [[the Rebbe]] Melech HaMoshiach instructed to begin printing the manuscripts of the Mitteler Rebbe's maamarim that had not yet been published. The Rebbe instructed to begin with the maamarim on Sefer Vayikra<ref>This is because most of the maamarim of Bereishis and Shemos have already been printed in the Toras Chaim seforim.</ref>, which was printed on 2nd Nissan that same year. During the following years until 1991, the rest of the books were printed (except for the book containing the Hanachos from 1817 which was printed in 1994).

Most volumes of the series, as well as individual kuntresim published over the years by Kehot, were edited by Rabbi Alexander Ziskind Pikarsky.
