Editing Elimelech Perman

Rabbi '''Elimelech Perman''' (1883 - 24 Shevat 1970), known as '''Meilech''', was among the first students at Yeshivas [[Tomchei Tmimim]] in [[Lubavitch]], and one of the pioneer educators in [[Kfar Chabad]].

== Life History ==
Born in 1883 to his father Rabbi Menashe Perman.

He merited to study at Yeshivas [[Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch]] in the court of the [[Rebbe Rashab]].

He lived in Novo-Poltavka, where he worked as a shochet and bodek (ritual slaughterer and inspector). He left Russia during the great exodus in 1946, immigrated to Eretz Yisroel and settled in Kfar Chabad, where he was involved in education at the local Talmud Torah.

During his time living in Kfar Chabad, he hosted the Chassidic artist Reb [[Zalman Kleinman]] in his home.

He passed away on [[24 Shevat]] [[1970]] and was buried in the cemetery on Har HaZeisim in Jerusalem.
