"Abba Ila'ah Mekanen B'Atzilus" is a phrase appearing frequently in Chassidus and Kabbalah, and its meaning is: "Abba Ila'ah" (a term referring to the Sefirah of Chochmah) nests and dwells in the world of Atzilus. This means that the main dwelling place - its revelation and influence - of the Sefirah of Chochmah is in the world of Atzilus, and therefore the primary Sefirah in Atzilus is Chochmah. The significance of this is that all the Sefiros, Heichalos, etc. of the world of Atzilus are aligned with and function according to the nature of the Sefirah of Chochmah. The essence of the Sefirah of Chochmah is the great bitul to the Ohr Ein Sof Baruch Hu, which is why it is called Chochmah - the letters ืื-ืื, which means bitul, and this aspect of the bitul of Chochmah is felt throughout the entire world of Atzilus.
