== In Chassidut == The Rebbe emphasizes several times the special quality of Ta'anit Esther that was not established following a sorrowful event, and therefore its status as a "day of favor to Hashem" is with greater intensity than other fasts. Since this is so, the Rebbe concludes that even in the time of the Geulah when all fasts will be nullified, this fast will remain and be observed, since it is an elevated day of favor, and therefore there is no reason it should be nullified—quite the contrary. Nevertheless, this day will also be a day of joy, and indeed, the transformation to joy is especially emphasized in it—for it is a preparation for the holiday of Purim, whose entire concept is "v'nahafoch hu" (and it was turned around).
