==== In Condolence Visit After the Passing of the Rebbetzin ==== On 27 Shevat 5748, during the shiva for Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, he came to comfort the Rebbe who was staying at his home on President Street. On this occasion, the Rebbe told him, "There needs to be 'the air of the Eretz Yisrael,' starting from every fortress; every fortress immediately receives a connection with the Eretz Yisrael through 'the air of the Eretz Yisrael' - the caves abroad that lead to the Eretz Yisrael. May it be very soon, and may it be with physical eyes, and 'Awaken and sing, you who dwell in the dust,' and everyone meets in the Holy Land, with joy and gladness of heart." Later, he noted his impression from this visit of the simplicity and modesty of the home.
