The exhibition was successful, and as a result, it was decided to establish a Jewish museum that would deal with basic topics in Judaism. The construction of the museum took several years, and in 5765 (2005), the museum was inaugurated in Crown Heights. The museum has six floors and includes Jewish exhibits, games, and kosher restaurants. On 3 Iyar 5766 (2006), the museum won the Government Building Award for Art and Culture. ==== Lubavitch Museum ==== The Lubavitch Museum (Russia) is an expanded topic. In 5761 (2001), a museum was inaugurated in the town of Lubavitch, focusing on the history of Chabad in the town. ==== The Largest Jewish Museum in the World ==== In 5773 (2013), the largest Jewish museum in the world was inaugurated in Moscow, Russia, dealing with periods in the history of the Jewish people from the creation of the world until our time. The museum was built over eight years, on an area of 9,000 square meters, and includes sophisticated technological accessories. It was built in cooperation with the shluchim (emissaries) in Russia.
