==== Translation of Chassidus to German ====
Translating Chassidus into German was a project that Rav Chadakov assisted with. The Rebbe Rayatz managed the project of translating Chassidus into German, and the Rebbe was responsible for this important initiative in which a booklet was published with a letter from the Rebbe Rayatz translated into German. The booklet is called: "The Moral and Educational Significance of Chabad Chassidus, An Answer from the Rebbe Shlita of Lubavitch, to a Letter from Germany."

The Rebbe instructed and guided in every detail of the printing, including external aspects such as the size of the booklet, beautiful letters, nice and strong paper, attention to external beauty, spacing between chapters, the booklet cover should be thick, and more. The Rebbe also expedited the printing and after the booklet was published, prepared a correction sheet. The technical instructions from the Rebbe were received by Rav Chadakov during his stay in Riga, and he was the main activist in translating the booklet. Mrs. Adel Pfenheim from Austria translated the booklet (she later married R' Zalman, son of R' Mordechai Dubin).

In Adar 5699 (1939), he married in Riga to Mrs. Etel Tzerna of the Shochat family, from an important family in the city of Telz in Lithuania. Before his wedding, he merited to have a yechidus with the Rebbe Rayatz and hear special instructions and customs related to the wedding.

In the book "Ateres Zekenim," photographs of news items and blessings for the wedding were printed, as published in the newspaper Haynt that was published in Riga [clarification needed].

His drawing closer to Chabad, beginning to conduct himself according to Chabad customs, studying Chabad Chassidus, and complete connection to Chabad matters - remained obscure in all sources covering his personality, from "Stories from the Rebbe's Room" and "Otzar HaChassidim," to articles in which he himself is interviewed, Rav Godin and Rav Mindel who tell about him, and also the "Rav Chadakov" supplement in which his grandchildren add some family details, but the drawing closer to Chabad remained a complete mystery. And in the pictures from his wedding published in "Rav Chadakov," he is seen dressed in a top hat and winter coat. And for many more years on Shabbos and Yom Tov, he did not wear Chabad Shabbos clothing.
