== The Schneerson House == [Extended article - The Schneerson House in Lubavitch] The Schneerson house in Lubavitch today is a large building located on a spacious plot in the town of Lubavitch. It currently serves as a hachnosas orchim (guest house) and as a museum dedicated to the heritage of Chabad Chassidus and the town's history. The house was purchased in 1989 and is registered in the Rebbe's name. A large monument was erected in the town commemorating its Jewish residents who were murdered during the Nazi occupation.
