== Our Actions and Service == ==== Removing Darkness and Evil through Adding Light ==== By illuminating the darkness of exile, a little light pushes away much darkness, "a mitzvah is a candle and the Torah is light," one who comes to purify (others). We bring the light of redemption by nullifying the darkness of exile, by illuminating "the candle of Hashem is the soul of man." Through revealing the Yechidah (highest soul level), the Sitra Achra (forces of impurity) is completely nullified. By elevating Kelipat Nogah (neutral husk) to holiness, the three impure Kelipot are nullified because the intermediary is nullified, and there will be eternal redemption. By establishing a partition in the synagogue, a partition in holiness, the opposing forces will be nullified. Through slaughtering the Yetzer Hara (evil inclination), the Holy One Blessed be He will slaughter the Yetzer Hara. Through fulfilling Torah and mitzvot (not in a way that adds vitality to the Kelipot - darkness, but rather) in a way that they are good and illuminating deeds. This comes through preceding prayer service, which makes good deeds illuminating, and then through each mitzvah one adds light to the world and expels darkness, which will bring about "and the spirit of impurity I will remove from the earth." Through lighting Shabbat candles. Through the purification of the Jewish people, and something similar must happen now. Similar to how the exodus from Egypt was in the merit of righteous women. Mikveh of purity. Family purity. Through the six constant mitzvot. ==== Transforming Darkness into Light ==== When one withstands a test, intentional sins become merits, and "night will shine like day." Through the service of transforming bitterness to sweetness. Since with the arrival of Shabbat the promise "the spirit of impurity I will remove from the earth" will be fulfilled, there is a need to transform matters of the opposing side that contain elements of good while still in exile β one must remember that this is only the "parable," and one must see the "lesson," and then one sees β not the physical matters, like the steel from which the "tank" is made, and the power of gunpowder in shells, etc., but rather the divine power within it β "by the word of Hashem the heavens were made," which is the power of the Creator in the created, and "from Hashem man's steps are established," which is the power that brings the tank and directs it to fire to the proper place, such that this matter is transformed to good in one's thought, and since a Jew is the master over the world, the world is also transformed to good, so the tank becomes his, and he can direct it as he wishes, and one can rely on him, since he will certainly direct it according to the will of the Holy One Blessed be He.
