== Life History == Born in Leningrad in 1964 to his father, R' Michael Ulman. When he reached marriage age, he married his wife Mrs. Sterna, daughter of Rabbi Yosef Goldstein. After their wedding, he went to work as the Rebbe's shliach with the Russian immigrant community in Sydney, Australia, and established a branch of the FREE institution (Friends of Refugees of Eastern Europe) in the city. He founded a Chabad synagogue for this community, and in 1994 he organized a central Chanukah candle lighting ceremony with the participation of the President of Australia.
