== Its Essence == E-L Sha-dai is one of the three names "E-L Sha-dai," "E-L Havayah," and "E-L Adnai," whose purpose is to draw down from the name E-L, which is the first of the 13 rectifications of the beard, to the worlds of Beriah, Yetzirah, and Asiyah. The name E-L Sha-dai draws down to the world of Beriah, where the meaning of the name "Sha-dai" is contraction, "that He said to the world: enough," and therefore this name illuminates the world of Beriah, which is in a state of concealment. As is known, the world of Beriah is called "Creator of darkness," which is in the category of a concealed world that is not revealed, unlike the world of Yetzirah, which is called "Former of light," which is in the category of a revealed world. Therefore, in the world of Yetzirah, the name "E-L Havayah" is drawn down, whose essence is like the name Havayah, which represents revelation.
