Born on Sunday, [[29th of Elul]] [[5549]] in the city of [[Liozna]], to [[Rabbi Shalom Shachna Altshuler|Rabbi Shalom Shachna]] and [[Rebbetzin Devorah Leah Altshuler|Devorah Leah Altschuler]]. He passed away on [[13th of Nissan]] [[5626]] and his resting place is in [[Lubavitch]]. He is called 'Tzemach Tzedek' after his sefer Tzemach Tzedek.
