{{music}} The Nigun Ka'ayal Ta'arog is a devekus nigun that was frequently sung by the Tzemach Tzedek. King David's song in Tehillim, "As a deer yearns for streams of water, so does my soul yearn for You, Elokim," illustrates the great thirst of the nefesh elokis (divine soul) for a drop of Elokus while imprisoned in the physical and material body. This nigun is number 14 in Sefer HaNigunim.
