'''Rayevndshel''' - '''R'''abbi '''Y'''osef '''Y'''itzchak '''V'''e'''N'''echama '''D'''ina '''Sh'''neerson '''L'''ubavitch - is a special charity fund that was managed by the Rebbe Rayatz and Rebbetzin Nechama Dina for Jewish institutions in the United States. The fund was established on Tu B'Shvat 5704 (1944) and operated until the passing of the Rebbetzin in 5731 (1971). == Fund Activities == In the first protocol of the conference, the Rebbe was also listed among the members of "Rayevndshel." On the 1st of Rosh Chodesh Adar 5704 (1944), the fund was approved as an official nonprofit organization by the State of New York. At the second conference of the organization, which took place on the 19th of Adar 5704 (1944), it was decided to open a bank account with $200, which the President contributed to the fund as a loan. At the third conference, which took place on the 25th of Nissan 5704 (1944), the Rebbe was chosen as the accountant of the fund. A committee of five was also selected to work on the details of the charter and expand it: the Previous Rebbe, the Rebbe, Rabbi A. Simpson, Rabbi CMA Hodakov, and Rabbi D. Chaskind. The charter stated, among other things, that the purpose of this organization was to promote Orthodox Judaism and especially the mitzvah of tzedakah, without profits for the association. The fund existed until the passing of Rebbetzin Nechama Dina in 5731 (1971). During the years 5710-5731 (1950-1971), the fund was managed by Rebbetzin Nechama Dina, and she would make donations from it. == Board Members Throughout the Years == President - Rebbe Rayatz Vice President - Rebbetzin Nechama Dina Treasurer - Rabbi Menachem Mendel Cunin Secretary - Rabbi Yochanan Gordon Board of Directors - The Rebbe, Rabbi Eliyahu Simpson, Rabbi Dov Ber Chaskind, Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Aizik Hodakov In later years, the fund was managed by Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka and her sister Chana.
