{{thirteen attributes of mercy}} '''V'Chatah''' is the twelfth repair of the thirteen repairs of the beard ([[tikunei dikna]]), which are [[the thirteen attributes of mercy]] of [[Arich Anpin]]. == Its Meaning == It is explained that the name "[[Elokim]]" is alluded to in the thirteen attributes of mercy in the following manner: [[The letters Alef]] and [[The letters Lamed|Lamed]] constitute the first attribute "E-l" and they allude to the "narrowness of the beard," when the influence is narrow and not yet broad. The words "v'rav chesed" (and abundant in kindness) correspond to the name Yud-Hey, and allude to the two sides of the beard. The word "v'chatah" (and sin) alludes to the letter Mem.
