Tzvi Yitzchok (Hirshel) Rosenbluh
R' Tzvi Yitzchok (Hirshel) Rosenbluh is an accountant, member of the Chabad community in Monsey, historian, researcher, and chief editor of Anash.org.
Life History[edit | edit source]
Born in Brooklyn in 1975 to a Chassidic family of Holocaust survivors from Hungary, descendants of great talmidim of the Chasam Sofer.
In his youth, he became mekurav to Chassidus Chabad.
In 1997, he was among the talmidim hashluchim at Yeshiva Gedolah Tomchei Tmimim 'Ohr Menachem' in Montevideo, Uruguay.
When he reached the age for shidduchim, he married his wife, daughter of Rabbi Yitzchok Meir Hertz, Rosh Yeshiva Gedolah Lubavitch and Rav of the Chabad community in Northwest London and member of Vaad Rabonei Lubavitch.
After the chasuna and a year of learning in kollel, he began working as an accountant for parnassa.
In 2005, he opened the blog 'Hirshel Tzig', where he published historical gems and facts, and over the years published over 3,000 posts, some with great historical value including first-time revelations.
Editor of Anash.org[edit | edit source]
In 2019, he joined a group of Chassidishe yungeleit who founded the English Chabad website Anash.org, to add a Chabad website that would serve as an internet news platform for English speakers, while maintaining a Chassidishe and conservative editorial line suited for the Chabad Chassidic community.
The website received support from prominent Chabad rabbonim worldwide, and he was appointed as chief editor.
