Niggun Tzeinah Ureinah
Tzeinah Ureinah is a devekus niggun that was sung by the Alter Rebbe. The name of the niggun is taken from a verse in Shir HaShirim (Chapter 3, verse 11):
"Tzeinah ureinah b'nos Tziyon bamelech Shlomo ba'atarah she'itrah lo imo b'yom chasunaso uvyom simchas libo"
This niggun is one of the ten niggunim of the Alter Rebbe.
On one occasion, the Alter Rebbe explained the meaning of the words "Tzeinah Ureinah" in avodas Hashem; Tzeinah - by a person going out of his selfishness, he merits Ureinah - to see G-dliness.
This niggun has an additional bava (section) that was only found before the publication of Sefer HaNiggunim Volume 2 (Part 1). This additional bava was recorded from the Chossid Reb Dovid Leib Marozov, who heard it from his father Reb Elchanan Dov who learned the ten niggunim directly from the Rebbe Rashab himself.
This niggun is niggun #4 in Sefer HaNiggunim (additional bava - niggun #176).
